New!Master Cylinder Bleeder Cover

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS

YOU MUST HAVE AN AIR REGULATOR THAT WILL REGULATE DOWN TO 8 PSI OR DAMAGE CAN BE DONE TO THE MASTER CYLINDER AND/OR WHEEL CYLINDER.

Screw the male air fitting into the top of the Bleeder cover using pipe tape.  (TOP OF PLATE HAS "TOP" STAMPED ON IT.  DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.)

  1. Remove the Master Cylinder cover and gasket.  Using the existing screws, replace with the Bleeder cover and gasket, MAKING SURE THE RESERVOIR IS FULL.

  2. Using the Regulator (MAX PRESSURE NOT TO EXCEED 8 PSI) connect the air hose to the male air fitting in the top of the Bleeder cover.

  3. SLOWLY CRACK OPEN the wheel cylinder bleeder screw to bleed brake lines.  (CAUTION!!  AIR PRESSURE MAY CAUSE RESERVOIR TO EMPTY FASTER THAN NORMAL.  REFILL AS NEEDED.)

  4. Re-install the original Master Cylinder cover and gasket using the existing screws.
